Bio: Pitseolak Niviaqsi: Male artist
(prints, sculpture), born January 22,1947,
lives in Cape Dorset. In 1977 he introduced
lithographic technology to
Holman Island printmakers, with the help of
Wally Brannen and JimmyManning. One of his
sculptures was given to a Japanese prince
for his wedding by the Canadian Abassador
to Japan. His work has been exhibited in Canada
and the USA.
