Bio: Allen Ahmoo Angeconeb:
Allen is Ojibway, born April 19,1955 in Sioux
Lookout, Ontario. He is a painter, paper maker
and printmaker. His work is largely based
on the ideology of the Woodland School of
Legend Painting....a style that bridges two
cultures, that communicates the essence of
Ojibwe values and perceptions to the contempory
Native and the non-native viewer. His extensive
travel furthered his techniques and imagery
by studying the art of ancient world cultures.
Ahmoo resides in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
