Bio: Adamie Ashevak:
Male sculptor, born July 24,1959, lives in
Cape Dorset. Family: Son of renown C.D.artists
Kenojuak and Johniebo. Began carving at 12,
became serious at 18. Favourite subjects are
bears (taught by foremost bear carver Nuna
Parr) and drumdancers. Began exhibiting in
the late 80's and continues to today in the
USA and Can.
